Operating Entity: Minovox Ed Tech Pvt. Ltd. (operating as “Encity”)

Platform Scope: Encity Web Portal (https://encity.in/) and Encity Mobile Application (Google Play Store Ecosystem)

1.0 THE ENCITY SAFETY PROMISE

Encity, developed and managed by Minovox Ed Tech Pvt. Ltd., operates as a trusted hyper-local discovery directory and service marketplace. Because our marketplace connects digital users with independent local professionals for real-world, face-to-face services (such as home repairs, technical troubleshooting, and physical consultations), the physical safety of our consumers (“End-Users”), the security of our independent professionals (“Service Providers”), and the structural defense of our digital ecosystem are our highest operating priorities.

This Safety & Security Policy outlines the protocols, operational guidelines, and technological safeguards we implement to mitigate risks, manage platform misconduct, and maintain a secure offline and online environment.

2.0 DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE & INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION

To safeguard user data and ensure continuous system availability, Encity deploys industry-standard technical security layers:

2.1 Encryption Standards

All digital transmissions passing between your web browser or Android mobile application and our core databases are shielded using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) protocols. Data at rest within our cloud environments (AWS / Google Cloud Platform) is fully encrypted using standard cryptographic controls.

2.2 Payment Infrastructure Safety

Encity does not harvest, process, or store raw electronic payment data such as credit card numbers, CVVs, or internet banking passwords. All financial transactions are channeled through PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant third-party payment gateways (Razorpay and Stripe). These platforms employ real-time automated fraud detection scripts to block stolen cards, unauthorized banking access, and chargeback scams.

2.3 Account Security Protocols

User and provider profiles are locked using advanced identity verification mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure dynamic One-Time Passwords (OTPs) generated via SMS directly to the user’s authenticated mobile device.

3.0 MARKETPLACE VERIFICATION & ONBOARDING PROTOCOLS

While Encity acts as an intermediary directory aggregator under the Information Technology Act, 2000, we apply strict validation measures before allowing Service Providers to interact with general consumers:

  1. Identity Verification: Prospective Service Providers are required to upload valid government-issued identity documents (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or voter identification) to verify their personal existence and physical legal residence.
  2. Commercial Licensing Checks: For specialized niches requiring statutory licenses (e.g., professional electrical contractors, corporate agencies, legal or tax consultants), the platform requests copies of trade licenses or corporate Goods and Services Tax (GST) certificates.
  3. Accountability Profiles: Any provider who uploads fraudulent credentials, gives a false business location, or presents forged documents will have their listing blocked immediately, and their unique device signature will be permanently banned from the ecosystem.

4.0 OFFLINE & IN-PERSON SERVICE SAFETY GUIDELINES

Because Encity facilitates real-world, in-person local service visits, we strongly encourage both End-Users and Service Providers to practice standard safety protocols during appointments:

4.1 Guidelines for End-Users

  • Verify Identity Upon Arrival: Before allowing an independent Service Provider into your home or commercial building, verify that their name and photo match the confirmed booking details on your Encity mobile application.
  • Ensure Accompaniment: We strongly recommend having an adult family member, neighbor, or colleague present at the premises throughout the duration of the service visit.
  • Secure High-Value Belongings: Ensure that highly valuable assets, personal financial documents, and sensitive portable electronics are stored securely before the technician arrives.

4.2 Guidelines for Service Providers

  • Conduct Professional Assessments: Evaluate the designated work environment before beginning a job. If you feel unsafe or encounter hazardous physical conditions, you possess the right to decline execution and report the situation to Encity.
  • Maintain Professional Boundaries: Limit all interactions strictly to the commercial scope of the service booked. Do not solicit personal or unrelated private data from the customer.

5.0 ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR THREATS & MISCONDUCT

Minovox Ed Tech Pvt. Ltd. maintains an unyielding, zero-tolerance policy against any form of criminal activity, harassment, or physical danger. We will permanently ban any individual from the Encity ecosystem who engages in:

  • Physical violence, verbal abuse, stalking, intimidation, or explicit harassment of any user, service merchant, or corporate customer support employee.
  • Theft, intentional property destruction, or extortion during a service visit.
  • Discriminatory behavior or hate speech based on race, religion, caste, national origin, disability, or gender.

6.0 REPORTING INCIDENTS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT COOPERATION

If an emergency arises during an on-site service appointment, users must immediately contact local law enforcement authorities (Dial 112 in India) or emergency medical services.

Once immediate safety measures are secured, please report the incident to our team at support@encity.in or call +91 7905709650. Encity takes physical and digital security incidents seriously. We maintain comprehensive digital audit logs, IP coordinates, and registration records, and we will cooperate fully with valid law enforcement investigations by providing necessary data footprints under applicable statutory frameworks.
