Operating Entity: Minovox Ed Tech Pvt. Ltd. (operating as “Encity”)

Platform Scope: Encity Web Portal (https://encity.in/) and Encity Mobile Application (Google Play Store Ecosystem)

1.0 OBJECTIVE AND CONTEXTUAL BOUNDARIES

Encity, operated by Minovox Ed Tech Pvt. Ltd., works as an open, hyper-local marketplace and interactive directory. Because our platform enables independent Service Providers to author commercial listings and permits End-Users to broadcast community reviews, ratings, photographs, and text chats (collectively, “User-Generated Content” or “UGC”), establishing a safe, authentic, and high-integrity digital environment is structurally essential.

This Content Moderation Policy defines our operational methodologies, qualitative rules, automated filters, and human protocols designed to detect, evaluate, restrict, or purge non-compliant content. This policy is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Google Play Store Developer Programme Policies regarding UGC Moderation.

2.0 CLASSIFICATION OF PROHIBITED CONTENT

Any content that falls under the following classifications violates our platform ecosystem principles and is strictly prohibited from being posted, shared, or maintained on Encity:

  1. Deceptive & Inauthentic Postings: Fabricated reviews, coordinated negative ratings arranged to harm competing local merchants, or artificial text praise generated via automated bots to boost profile positioning.
  2. Objectionable & Sexually Explicit Media: Text descriptions or graphic files containing adult content, pornography, nudity, or promotions for explicit services.
  3. Hate Speech & Severe Harassment: Content that targets, insults, threatens, or demeans individuals or social groups based on race, religion, caste, national origin, disability, or gender identity.
  4. Intellectual Property Violations: Business profiles, logos, portfolios, or descriptions that illegally utilize trademarked assets or copyrighted imagery belonging to another corporate entity without explicit written permission.
  5. Illegal & Prohibited Commerce: Text or links promoting unlawful activities, hazardous chemicals, unregistered medical claims, unlicensed financial schemes, or contraband.

3.0 SYSTEM MODERATION OPERATIONS

To maintain structural compliance across our mobile applications and web domains, Encity leverages a multi-layered moderation pipeline:

3.1 Automated Pre-Filtering Integration

Our cloud endpoints utilize automated programmatic text and image filters. These scripts review incoming business profile submissions, review text fields, and chat sequences for known profanities, malicious links, duplicate spam distributions, and unauthorized telephone data harvesting, automatically flagging anomalies for human review.

3.2 Human Compliance Evaluations

Encity maintains a dedicated human review department. Our specialists inspect flagged business storefront listings, investigate user escalation reports, perform routine quality audits on new merchant accounts, and remove content that fails our Acceptable Use standards.

4.0 BUILT-IN USER EMPOWERMENT TOOLS

In strict alignment with Google Play developer frameworks, the Encity mobile application gives users immediate control to protect themselves from hostile or non-compliant actions:

  • The In-App Flagging Protocol: Every public business profile, text review, and uploaded image features an accessible, prominently displayed “Report / Flag” button. Clicking this icon allows users to flag objectionable content to our moderation queue within seconds.
  • The Blocking Protocol: Users engaged in live communication channels within our mobile software have immediate access to an explicit “Block User” command, preventing the blocked account from sending further text or voice notifications.

5.0 REMEDIAL AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

If our automated monitors or human verification specialists confirm a policy infraction, Encity reserves the right to take any of the following enforcement actions based on the severity of the violation:

  • Content Stripping: Immediate removal or permanent deletion of the offending review, image, or text string.
  • Listing Suppression: Hiding a Service Provider’s business listing from hyper-local search queries while an investigation is conducted.
  • Ecosystem Ban: Permanent suspension of the user profile and blacklisting of associated device identifiers (IMEI/Android ID) to prevent future registration.

6.0 RECOURSE & GRIEVANCE DEPLOYMENT

If a Service Provider or End-User believes their content was restricted or removed in error, they possess the right to submit an appeal to support@encity.in with clear supporting documentation. Our compliance team will review the appeal within 7 business days.
